Help Offset Tuition with SCRIP
How do I purchase these cards? You fill out the SCRIP form specifying which gift cards you wish to purchase, attach a check payable to SGS, and submit it to the front office. SCRIP order forms are due to the office every Monday by 3:00 pm.
How Does This Help Offset Tuition? Here is the best part! SCRIP helps both you and the school. Each gift card purchased results in a certain percentage to financially support the school and your family’s tuition account. Your percentage rewards are accumulated throughout the school year. At the end of the school year, your family’s tuition account will be awarded a specific amount of dollars.
What should I buy SCRIP for? You may buy these gift cards to stores you regularly shop at such as HEB, WalMart, Sam’s Club, iTunes etc. Use the gift cards for family, friends, teachers, co-workers etc. The sky is the limit and watch your rewards rack up!

Hope for the Future Run/Walk
Hope for the Future is hosting its annual Run With A Mission 5K Walk/Run on October 25th beginning with mass at 7:30 a.m; run begins at 9:00 a.m. All proceeds support Hope for the Future fund which provide scholarships for families so they can afford Catholic education for their children.
So let’s show our Charger pride and get a large group from St. Gregory the Great Catholic School to run/walk the event. If SGS signs up a group of 10 or more people before October 13th, the fee for the race is $15 per individual. Kids 11 and under can run for $10. If you are interested in signing up for the race, contact Jean Hoskins at 210-342-0281.
We would like our school community members to devote to adoration each Thursday sometime between 8:45 am and 2:45 pm or later. Thursday was the day of the Last Supper when Christ miraculously and sacrificially gave himself to us in His Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity in the Blessed Sacrament.
During this time, we ask the intentions to include all the needs of our students, faculty, staff, administrators, and families of St. Gregory the Great. Please contact Teresa Morris at 269-5006 to sign up for a specific time or call the school office. Thank you and may the Holy Spirit guide all of us in this generous gift of our time to spend with Our Lord.
Lee National Denim Day®
SGS faculty and staff are gearing up to wear denim jeans with a pink shirt on Friday, October 10th 2014.
We invite SGS students to join our team by wearing a pink shirt and jeans by paying $2.00 or more. All these donations will go to honor those who have battled breast cancer. Donations will go the American Cancer Society to help research causes and cures for breast cancer.

Loteria is a game of chance like Bingo, but using images rather than numbers. There are 54 different images, with 16 images on each playing card. When you have four chips in a row either vertically, horizontally or diagonally, you holler “Loteria.”
The tickets are $10 for 15 games. Included with your $10 are two chalupas and 5 special games @ $1 each. Call the parish office for more information. Buy your tickets early and we promise you will have a great time.
